Join Rosemary for this wonderful introduction into the world of herbalism. This class will emphasize the foundations of herbalism and herbs for family health. There will be lots of hands on learning and activities, including making herbal products, learning to identify, harvest and prepare plants, creating a first aide kit, and learning how to use plants for health and healing…..all taught in Rosemary’s joyful inspiring way with plants.

Herbal Preparation ~ learn to make high quality herbal tinctures, salves, infusions, decoctions and beautiful herbal oils

Herbal First Aide ~ create your own personalized herbal home first aide kit

Plant Identification ~ join Rosemary on herbal identification walks through garden, meadow and woodlands

Plant Spirit Medicine ~ learn to deeply connect with the plants and how to work with their spirit and essence

Flower Essences ~ learn to make your own flower essences and how to use these special medicines

Herb Gardening ~ planning, planting and tending your herb garden

Cooking with Herbs ~ Rosemary will share her favorite wild and cultivated herbal recipes.

Using Herbs and Herbal Remedies for Home Health ~ how to put into practice your budding herbal knowledge. We will cover safety issues, dosaging, creating an herbal apothecary for the home, and other essential details that will help you develop your herbal skills.

An ‘herb camp’ as much as an ‘herb school’, students learn more than seems possible in a few days time, while having a ‘ton of fun’, enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of Sage Mountain and the great company of other herb students.

Registration Information: $695 includes all classes, materials, recipes, handouts, field trips, lodging at Sage Mountain (camping and limited indoor dormitory style lodging available) and delicious vegetarian meals.  

Please note; for those not staying or eating at Sage Mountain, the price is $495.
